Online Learning Summit May 2013

This year’s VCU Online Learning Summit will be on May 14, 2013.  For more information, see the event website.

The VCU Online Learning Summit is organized by the Center for Teaching Excellence at Virginia Commonwealth University. This regional conference serves as a multi-disciplinary forum for the discussion and exchange of information on the research, development, and applications of all topics related to teaching and learning online. We invite proposals of substantive, interactive sessions that will raise provocative questions, engage participants in discussion, and foster conversations.

Important Dates

Call for Participation: Due March 1, 2013

Notification of Accepted Proposals: April 2, 2013

Registration opens February 15, 2013
(Registration for the Summit is free, but seating will be limited)

Kim Mann is the editor and a writer for the Academic Technology Blog. She earned her BA in English from the University of Minnesota in 2003 and her MA in American Studies from William & Mary in 2009, and her PhD in American Studies at the College in 2014. Her research is on technology, the interface, and the body in mid-twentieth century science fiction.
